This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a worldwide campaign sending a strong message for climate action in the countdown to negotiations in Copenhagen.

Climate Action Moreland Countdown to Copenhagen

The actions and events you create are up to you, but be sure include things like garage sales, sausage sizzles, competitions and music so everyone can have a great time.

Use this Fact Sheet to create your own 350 countdown campaign.

3 steps

1 Click on our calendar link and follow the prompts to find all the key dates you need to get ready

2 Copy our activity ideas in the agenda section of the calendar and present them to your own group or community.

3 Create your own events and actions leading up to the big event on October 24th.

5 Things to do

1 Get together with your friends, church, school, or community group and have a brainstorm on what you can do towards the 350 campaign.

2 Use resources from the 350.org website including posters, stickers, stencils, flyers.

3 Plan your event so that it educates your participants about the significance of the 350 campaign

4 Make a banner or sign of the number 350 to include in your photo, or think of another creative way to display the number.

5 Launch your events on-line using Twitter, face book, email and other social networking tools. If you think your action is newsworthy, send out a press release.

0 24th October hold your big event, and send a message to Copenhagen.

Important: take photos of your action that prominently display the number 350, and as soon as your action is over be sure to select your best photo and upload it to the 350.org website.
