Race to Coburg night market – December 4

The Public Transport Users Association wants more sustainable transport options in our city that are frequent, reliable and connected.  Because we know that when we have a great public transport network, people will use it.

Race to Coburg Night Market

The PTUA are creating local events to engage people in their communities and campaign for better transport options. This year they have already run the Race to Richmond Town Hall and the Race to Preston Market. Now it’s Moreland’s turn. The PTUA is teaming up with Moreland Council and holding a race in conjunction with the Coburg Night Market on the 4th December kicking off at 5pm.

On that day, participants take public transport from home, work, school or where ever they might normally be on the day leaving at roughly the same time (5pm) and then all converge on the Coburg night market.  The winner will be the participant that has the fasted average speed for their journey.
